After having a court house wedding back home in the US, they decided to exchange vows and rings on the shores of the beautiful Shieldaig Lodge hotel. Nestled in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, this enchanting destination offers the perfect backdrop for a romantic getaway. Exchanging vows against a breathtaking landscape, surrounded by towering mountains and the shimmering loch was truly very special and we were even treated to an incredible rainbow during their couple portrait session. Mackenzie and Mike then joined their friends in the hotel’s sitting room with crackling fireplaces and a super cosy interior for cocktails and nibbles before a beautiful dinner at the hotel’s restaurant.
