Rebekah and Christopher were dreaming of a romantic and intimate wedding surrounded by the beauty of nature, a whimsical woodland elopement. They chose Grey Mares Tail near Glencoe, Scotland. This enchanting location offers a magical setting for couples seeking a unique and unforgettable wedding experience. With its lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and breathtaking views, Grey Mares Tail is the perfect backdrop for a fairytale elopement. Nestled in the heart of Scotland, Greymares Tail is a hidden gem that will capture your heart from the moment you arrive. The charm and allure of this picturesque location are truly unmatched. The towering trees, moss-covered rocks, and babbling brooks create a sense of tranquility and serenity that is simply breathtaking. A woodland elopement ceremony offers endless opportunities for creativity and personalization. Rebekah and Christopher incorporated unique rituals that held meaning for them both and exchanged vows under the beautiful autumnal woodland canopy. To symbolize their union they were handfast by our Humanist celebrant Leigh using ribbons and cords. We considered the time of day for the ceremony to take advantage of the soft, golden light that filters through the trees and then went on to take couple portraits around the misty loch, it was simply stunning. We love Glencoe in autumn.
